HNRC notes…
Due to space constraints at Barrow Hill 37072 and 37242
are to be removed to Kingsbury in the near future. 37072 had been a candidate
for sale into preservation at one point but the prospective buyer for this one
has gone for 37214 instead. 37242 had been reported as sold for preservation but
it is advised that this was only on account that it could remain at Barrow Hill
and as this is now not possible 37242 returns to stored status and is
consequently re-listed. Anyone with an interest in purchasing either 37072 or
37242 should contact HNRC before the 23rd.
Several locomotives are in the process of being transferred to other owners /
operators. 31514 currently at Old Oak Common is to be moved to an as yet
undisclosed preservation site pending transfer to Network Rail, 47575 at
Motherwell, reported elsewhere as Riviera bound, is to be brought south to
Barrow Hill whilst 56045 and 56124, both preservation bound once returned to
running order, are to be recovered from Immingham and Knottingley respectively
to Barrow Hill.

joined 86253 in the DPS shed for conversion to a mobile load bank. Although
