| The final leg of the new
freight working from China to the UK was from Ripple Lane to
Barking freight Terminal on the morning of the 18th. 92015
which had brought the train in from Dollands Moor to Ripple
Lane the previous evening led the train into Barking (which
isn't electrified) with 66136 propelling from the rear.
Welcome banners were broken and the press were in attendance
for the occasion. The consist of this new freight working
had set out from China on January 1st and was trans-shipped
en route due to the different loading gauge in Russia. |
